He started in the industry in 1998 under the tutelage of the great investment guru, Al Frank and over the years he has made several macro and micro calls that proved to be very lucrative to his followers.
In 2004, his Rational Investor model portfolio was number 1 in performance of a widely diversified portfolio according to the Hulbert Financial Digest in 2004.
He has been a repeat winner of the very popular MSN Strategy Lab quarterly stock picking competition and he has served as the editor for several investment newsletters after selling his Rational Investor to a larger publisher.
He has worked as a portfolio manager and investment advisor at various firms including spending time incubating a portfolio with his friend and podcast co-host, Louis Navellier.
He has appeared often in the financial press including CNBC, MSN Money, and The Street to name a few.
Today, JD is leading the charge of traders attacking the market in a Rational and profitable way. He is always refining his methodology including his latest efforts for The Money Fortress and 2 Sigma Trading.
